That was another reason I chose the RTX 4060 Ti. It’s power consumption while gaming is only around 160W.
Which is frigging crazy, because it is lower than my EVGA GTX 1060 SC 6GB and over 200% across the board better than it.
An RTX 4090 is still around 600W. Using a Gen 5 (PCI-E 5.0 (16 pin) PSU at least 850-1000W PSU. Mine, on the MSI MAG 850GL lights up green to show correct connection or Red if not, obviously I don’t haven 4090, this is in my manual.
This is like an overhead train power line to your GPU lol |
