Wow the level of hatred for this man is intense, couple that with the saliva spitting fury towards Gabe and you've got yourself some pretty ignorant gamers.
Personally I'm interested in what he's going to come up with and where he pushes mobile gaming. If he's a victim of anything its the glutonous amount of high end 3D engines diluting a market which used to beg for great gfx and gameplay.
Oh as for money grabbing, short of the obvious business side of it, I don't see many developers paying out to host a massive lan party for their fans. |

Hatred or sarcasm? I love people who make their own interpretations of emotions from peoples 'posts'. Who are you Dr.Phil?
Are you Dr.Phil of the forums<sic>? I was being sarcastic. My hatred of Gabe or as you call it is a lot of sarcasm too.. Check it out, it can be fun to use sarcasm as a form of humor..

Heres a link that has a bunch of jokes based on sarcasm...

Hope that helps open your mind to things other than hatred and anger. |

Devilhood
Wii all over the world!
Lmer
Its nothing he hasn't said several years ago during the Doom3 development. However I do think he could push the hardware and features of mobile devices in a direction other people may be afraid of doing. Although not my cup of tea the Mobile MMORPG client which then sync in with a desktop version sound like a killer app.
I also want to know what their new IP is going to be, I saw nothing about it at E3.

OMG your forum posts are attempts at humor!
You may want to follow your own link and look up wit. Its something you lack pal. |

The industry sees maybe one truly new game per year.
Which explains what's wrong with gaming, and why it took me forever to find something good to rent tonight. Everything on the shelf was a sequel; the ideas haven't been fresh for years. |

By "afraid" you must think of "fear of a lousy investment" because i just can't believe that even The Carmack can pick up a mobile phone one day and make a revolution. There's already lots of revolutionizing going on in that field of electronics and is far more calculated and laid out than few words from the genious in some obscure interview.
I'm probably just afraid of the fact that Carmack isn't spending most of his time on the PC platform.
//Edit (typos)
Damn i make so many typos when writing English. You can warn me, i'd apretiate it |
