nVidia forceware 96.89 for Windows 2000/Xp 32/64bits

On many of the forums I am on, these have a lot of high praise from lots of people. As well, issues from 93.xx are fixed in these drivers.

I've also found that these ones hold your desktop customizations better. For example, your LCD profiling.

xxxx, the 96.89 release isn't from nVidia, it was an ASUS release to support the GeForce 8800 GTX and GTS card's specifically.
I'd still recommend to use the WHQL'd official 93.71 drivers.

They are Asus branded but these are highly regarded by many gamers that have used them. I myself am running with them, I find they smoothed out games like Dark Messiah. Texture shimmers and things I noticed in the 93 version seem to be all gone in the 96 driver.
