If any game has the power to get me to pony up some decent cash for a DX10 rig, it's this game.

That video looked fun as hell.

Yeah well I'm done shoving out 1,000 every time a game comes out that only the latest shit can run.I cant keep up with these upgrades. What about all those people that bought the latest graphics card without DX10? They must be screaming right now?

Have you even read the interview? The whole point is that DX10 improves performance and doesn't provide that much eye-candy. So according to the interview you'll be perfectly well with a powerful DX9 card.

Yeah well I think this article is nothing but cosmetic use of words to hide the fact the game will run like shit on DX9 hardware. I've got a 7600 so I 'wont' be buying this game, just like I 'didn't' buy Farcry until it was in the bargain bin.

"You can be sure your high-end gamer rig will satisfy your expectations--but with D3D10, you will surpass them."

Whatever, show me a video with DX9 vs DX10 with fps counter on and all the settings chosen to be on.

regardless of all the DX9-DX10 bullshit... you can't say that it doesn't look really good, and maybe, just maybe, a little fun. Smile

Screenshots and what I see after I buy it are 2 different things. I couldn't care less what it looks like if it wont look like that on my hardware. Yes, it does look good using a better gfx card. So what?
