Ritual's new owner Mumbo Jumbo has said that action games will not be the studio's primary focus from now on, casting doubt on the future of SiN Episode: "The idea of acquiring Ritual was to have them strengthen our development in the casual genre and not to have them involved at all in the actio

Sin is canned. To those around when Sin 1 came out, shouldn't be any surprise to you. The least they could have done was release the MP code and leave it open. But will that happen? wouldn't count on it.

What exactly is a casual game?

Is it a game like those childish party games that nintendo peddles on the masses?

Don't get me wrong, they might be fun when you're drunk, or really really bored, but they aren't going to get anybody excited (or at least shouldn't) to shell out some cash.

Eh, good riddance I guess. I was duped into buying that Emergence episode of Sin, and surprise surprise it really sucked. Come to think of it the last game I payed for and liked was HL2. I guess I should go back to getting them the other way.

It all doesn't make much sense cuz the dudes running Ritual are a bunch of morons to begin with. IMHO. Good riddance. Like I said, release what you have of MP and let the masses finish it since Ritual was obviously too incompetant to do.
