I have a 6800GT, and ....
I installed a second XP with SP2 (and DX9c), installed those new beta 62.xx Forceware (from Neowin's site), added those lines for SM3 support, and then started Far Cry with "-devmode bla bla" ...
As far as I'm concerned, there's nothing "whaaaa" about SM3 support for Far Cry ... Runs a little faster yes, but the difference is not jawbreaking... |

runs on my 9700/mod/pro machine fine now that it's cpu got upgraded. extra 400mhz on the cpu and bus speed smoothed it out. is there anyway to increase the bob? looks very stiff. i like movement. |

Running the 1.2 patch on an x800pro and it seems to have fixed the shadows problem when shadows are set to high and the vehicles turn yellow.
No probs with the patch at all.... will stick to 1.2 |
