Mass Effect 2 executive producer Casey Hudson has revealed some interesting statistics from the game:
BioWare found that only 15% of conversations were skipped in Mass Effect 2, with the rate higher in non-critical moments like in the hub worlds and much lower later in the game at the climax. \uot;If we foun

I'm sorry am I supposed to feel good about this data? They know all these statistics for what?
Its like those loyalty cards supermarkets hand out to give you a discount but really they are just keeping track of your purchases!
I dont like when a game reports back to home. Why is this needed?
1.5 million people flashed back on there TIVO units when Janet Jackson exposed her breast at the Superbowl. Why would they collect that info and share it?
Dont give me that crap about living in the internet age.
All this boils down to is a tryanacle system that will watch every move we make because humans are sheeple!!!!!!!! |

Oh you can take the tin-foil hat off mate. These stats will just be used to make the game more appealing to the lowest common denominator. I think it's rather amusing that the PC players did Miranda's loyalty mission more (I was one of those by the way) and the console players did it less, in place of the grunt missions. That tells you something about the average console player...something about emotional intelligence and age differences perhaps? Maybe? Wink, wink.
So the average is 33hrs to complete then? I have put 17hrs in so far while going through and doing as many side missions and things as possible so I probably have a way to go yet.
My theories for who the people are that played over 20 times:
-people in hospitals
-people on welfare
-people who are bat-shit crazy
-school kids
-some combination of the above |

I didn't finish it, but I plan too. I got bored of it actually. I found the combat was kind of lame in the game. I always finish my games just not in 1 or 2 sittings. To those playing it over 20+ times, I say they are f'ing lame asses with zero lives is all they are. No need to discriminate on age or profession. |
