So now we need to wear 3D glasses to overclock? Most people don't even have 3D monitors! Gigabyte? More like Gigastupid.

It's nice to finally see UEFI (the successor to the BIOS) starting to show up in new motherboards.

CastyMcNasty, you are the one that is GigaStupid. Try watching the video before you post your stupidity, but you don't because people like you always go off half-cocked.

They call everything 3D these days. I bought a new toilet yesterday, it was called Emperpot Deluxe 3D.

Looks like a prettied up Bios. That's fine as long as they keep the advanced mode for people that actually care. I'm not sure if the picture of the motherboard would help clueless people. It possibly could if they were also holding the manual at the same time. I just can't see my folks ever using the picture to get something done.

Ya a prettied up bios screen is all that really is. Shame it took them this long for someone to finally think about fixing it up.

Asus and others including Gigabyte have done some different things. Asus has had customized logos since like 00'. Bios doesn't need to be pretty as it needs to be functional imo. The only reason for giving it a UI is for recovery purposes. They could give it a fancy UI and a micro OS for recovery. That would make sense.

BIOS settings are meant to change a few parameters quickly - to those who know what they are doing.
This rubbish won't help those who don't know what they're doing - only annoy the other camp.
I sure hope the old stuff remains functional and we have to worry about DLCs coming out soon!
