I used to love FF7 and FF9, and ever since I got FF10, which I really fucking hated, I haven't touched another FF game.
I can't identify with the characters, I'm not even sure which is male and which is female. The whole art direction looks like it's made for 14 year old manga girls.
The world is full of detail and effects but it still seems somehow bland and featureless, like the protagonists.
It's curious, I really want to be interested, but I just can't make myself.
