Thai PC enthusiast TUM Apisak posted a screenshot of an alleged GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Ashes of the Singularity (AoTS) benchmark. The GTX 1660 Ti, if you'll recall, is an upcoming graphics card based on the TU116 silicon, which is a derivative of the uot;Turinguot; architecture but with a lack of real-time raytracing

That's good news. Maybe people will finally be able afford to get 1060 6gb for 200$ or less. But I doubt it.

I wish there were 8Gigs though

Thanks, I'll keep an eye on this one.
Might actually be a step up from the GTX970.

+16% here, +20% other places, +19% there... Whatever.. Just marketing for suckers. Seems the benchmark is right on par with a 1060... Go fuck yourself Nvidia, I'm staying right where I am.

Pricing matters. Right now you can get rx 580 8gb for ~200, and 1060 6gb is ~250$. They are sort of "same" in performance, but amd is trash, uses way more power, is amd, has surface shader optimisations ON by default (reducing quality of shaders from 16 bit to 12 bit), all in all, 1060 is better, but for 1080p gaming, 250$ is too much

edit: obviously it's not meant for people that already have 1060 cards or better...
