Devs like this kill the games all right.
It'd be in the best interest of the studio the get rid of this guy asap.

There is either some new wisdom in going Epic exclusive, or, most likely, they thought not exposing your game on Steam and other platforms gaining tens of millions potential buyers and paying 30% is far worse than exposing it to Epic only, getting maybe one million sales (including console sales).

There is a reason why Steam charges large fee devs and publishers go to them.
