We all love graphics cards, but with the increased cost of buying one... how can you possibly decide which one is right for you?

I don't think there's any dilemma.
If you want a new GPU, you'll need a new monitor, too.
So, forget it or be ready to cash out USD 1500+ for a low end GPU and the monitor that goes with it.

That's definitely true!

I still have classic 27" 1920x1080 monitors (VA, IPS). And I don't really want to upgrade to 4k yet. Especially since I spend most of my time at the PC writing and my eyes are definitely not what they used to be.

Was using my P4 until youtube wasn't playing anymore without stuttering and will use my GTX 950 until it really does not play any games anymore.

Only one was AC Valhalla, which I could not run, but for the rest of the games I started, they all were fine to run on this 8 year old machine, with a quad core.

GTA 6 might be a reason at some point, but... let's see, what happend in 5 years. 8)

Newer line of GPUs (6600XT and up) are good for 1440p. My eyes are not very good so even on 27" I'd have that set on 25% zoom in windows but I'll definitely move to 1440p. 1080p is just "old" these days Very Happy
