Problem is, removing idiots from power won't solve anything.
Just another idiot will take control - smart people stay clear from politics, it's for idiots.

Anyhow, happy new year to you and to all of you (gg members) - let's hope armageddon comes much later.

My new year's predictions (or bullshit):
- Putin removed from control and another idiot takes his place. The new idiot and the whole government is overthrown by the people and finally people take control, paving the way for Russia to join the civilized world and begin recovering from the destruction its leaders and oligarchs left behind.
- Trump gets what's been coming for him. Avoids jail at the cost of serious financial losses.
- Elon Musk kills Twitter (at least, in its current form). Elon will make it look like something he's been planning from the beginning.
- US finally realizes they cannot burn massive amounts of fossil fuels without consequences. It's too late for them even though they do start taking steps in the right direction.
- China - having lost Russia as an ally - recognizes Taiwan as an independent country and bans birth control to replenish the vanishing population (due to COVID).
- UK economy is weakened by incompetent government and the inability to deal with immigrants.
- Crypto bubble finally bursts.
- Kim Jong-un becomes severely ill to the point where he will be forced to step down. North Korea misfires a missile, shooting at its own population. Lies will be told.
- Following a civil war, a female-led government is established in Iran.
- An ancient species is discovered in the deep sea. In an attempt to study the species, a disaster will follow.
- The mass exodus on Facebook continues. Mark Zuckerberg finally realizes the investments in the metaverse were huge mistakes and a new leader must be named. The metaverse bubble bursts.
- New leaders are appointed at Apple and Intel as well.
