Firstly, 10gig Ethernet needs to get cheaper - for home and SMB: NICs, switches and routers.
Then, maybe then, these routers might make sense.
Nobody is going to upgrade a 1gig home network just for a new mobile phone or laptop. I mean, nobody sane; the rich are always and exception anyway. |

Basically no home user even needs Wifi 6.
Wire up the few units you may have that require fast speeds with 2.5 gig ethernet or 10 if you want to spend a little more, and the rest of the stuff will work fine with old Wifi standards.
And at the insane prices they charge for the latest shit, one might as well buy a couple of high-end pro Ruckus Access Points and run those with Unleashed cloud configurations and a small mesh and get vastly better quality across the board... |
