I'm getting the same problems as you dude, the trick I've found to 'solve' the lag is to allow it to load up for a couple of seconds then refreshing the window, which usually works |

PHP scripting is CPU intensive. The more people who join and use the forum, the slower the website will be. |

the whole site is PHP made, and to run forums like these which arent that big yet, it is not that CPU intesive at all! its more bandwidth intensive the amount of users will access!!
Are the main site and forum on the same server? |

I'd love to know how much experience you have as a system administrator which helped you form that opinion. |

i have run PHPBB on quite a few servers, and found that it was not that CPU intensive with only 100 users on it and very few topics being posted!
If this forum and the site are on the same server then i can understand it, because the main site is visited alot i would imagine! |
