S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, the long awaited first person shooter from GSC GameWorld is now set for release in May of 2005.  Here's a slice from the PR:

This is what happens when game manufacturers copy the way that VALVE does business. In 3mths, STALKER will be "hacked" and leaked on the net. By May 2005 nobody will care about STALKER. All we're missing here are ATI coupons. Laughing

hahahah so true, I was getting real excited about STALKER as well, now they've just gone and ruined any kind of excitement and suspense by pushing it back to the middle of 2005. Unless of course, they need this extra time to 'polish' everything off... wouldn't this mean they now have more than enough time to include co-op into it? haha Rolling Eyes
