Jeez, am I the only one who refuses to download 500 MB for one level of play? What is it with this latest generation of games and the 500 MB downloads. It's not worth it! |

It's the HUGE textures!
For some folks that 500mb download is half their ISP download quota used up!
Check out the readme:
Quote: | 1 GB free hard disc space (for the demo only; 4.83 GB for the full game | )
This is a **HILARIOUS** Q/A
"Q: I have a video card with only 1MB of memory on it. I meet the system
requirements otherwise. Can I play BloodRayne 2??
A: BloodRayne 2 requires a video card with at least 32MB of memory on it.
Sorry, you will need to upgrade your video card.
ROFL, 1mb cards are from 1994!!!!!!
Will give this a miss also as i seen a vid of it and it looked like a PS2 port.. |

I have no problem with the big downloads, but I do have some gripes with this demo... For one, you can't specify the installation directory, second there's no uninstall shortcut (luckily, there is an entry under Add & Remove Programs, but still). Then, onto the demo itself. It looks absolutely stunning. Blood and gore all over the place, and the fatalities are a nice touch. However. The controls slightly suck, with no way to change mouse sensitivity or revert axis. Uninstalled after about 10 minutes of play. Framerate was amazingly playable on my P4/1.7 with GF4Ti4200 in 1024x768 with all options to On. |
