Coming to Xbox live arcade kinda says it all about this, personally I'd buy it if it were coming with say a half life3/ep3.. however on its own, when all they've done is take original maps/models update textures and added some more detail etc (except the player hand/weapon on models - look bad) its hardly worth it, my days of cs gaming are over... more inclined to get bf3.
And Counter strike 2 would be CS:Source, this is more like CSS 2.6... the reporter should have said its not Counter Strike 3 (that would require valve to overhaul its source engine) |

He did say it was not a new CS. He said just that, it's a dressed up better looking game with a few tweaks in the gui and weapons. I think it looks great. CS is still one of the most popular games on the PC whether you like it or not. I just hope they don't price it stupid. $14.99 or $9.99 would be a great price imho. HL3, EP3, LOL! ffs c'mon. |
