Rocksteady is currently telling players that Batman: Arkham City should be temporarily run using DX 9 rather than DX 11. Apparently DX 11 is causing performance issues:

Basically it runs fine for consoles which is what it was actually tested on but PC wasn't really touched. We just got it ready for pc and said here.

I'm still waiting to try this game or at least see it in action once I get over to my buds place. Hope it's good.

Game like this is not worth playing on a PC, nor was it worth the wait. It has been immense fun on the console though.
