With the ever-growing list of US regulations (since the 80s?) there are quite a few backdoors in pretty much anything by now.
I'm surprised that it took so long for the Russians to figure that out; they are generally great programmers.
I guess the Chinese will follow soon.
In that case, the obvious choice for the customer would be: buy the Chinese hardware with Russian firmware and run US OS on top of it. |
