In an interview with 4Gamer, AMDâ??s Senior Vice President of Engineering for Radeon Technologies Group, David Wang, revealed that the red team will not implement DirectX ray tracing until all of its GPUs are capable of supporting it.

doesn't make any sense, if they can't support it on all their GPU's then they aren't supporting it at all.. even on some of the more capable GPU's because they aren't going to implement it...which is fine by me.. I don't own AMD gpu's because they seem to lag behind green team -for now.. I'm sure they will come out with something next year that will have green team shit bricks after the massive ass whipping they've given intel this year.

Of course what this intelligent person really wanted to say was "We don't give a flying fuck about Microsuck DirectX lockin api's to their increasingly garbage and bug riddled (in more ways than one) idiocracy designed OS Winshit10.. so will wait for Kronos group to sort their crap out and get on improving Vulkan api with an open raytracing alternative."

This raytracing nonsense is a selling point only to cash out way too much money for something you don't actually need.
Most gamers won't be able to afford it - so why bother with it.
Keep price low -> people will buy it.
NVidia is becoming a rich mans' brand.
