Since i'm new to linux, i would liek to ask you guys if you know a good version of ubuntu that has beryl desktop. It doesn't really matter if its ubuntu or not but i know its the most user friendly linux |

I don't think there is, you have to install it. There are plenty of videos and other tutorials on the net to install it. Perhaps 20-30mins to install it. Use google. If ur not getting anywhere then reply back. I work daily with Solaris, most distro's of Linux, HP Unix and all version of Windows. |

Greets.
Ubuntu 6.10 and 7.04 will both run Beryl, but you'll have better luck with the latest version because of updated graphics driver support.
Note, ATI is fairly lame with their linux drivers so it may be difficult to get Beryl working on an ATI card.
On the other hand, I had Beryl installed and running in all of ten minutes after installing Ubuntu 7.04 on an Nvidia box.
