Grand Prix 3
(hx) 05:14 PM EDT - Jul,27 2000

GP3, a sequel of sorts to F1 Grand Prix and Grand Prix 2, features all the teams, all the drivers, all the tracks and all the races of the 1998 Championship Season Official FI Licensed product endorsed by the FOA. GP3 includes 5 levels of difficulty : rookies (with driving aids such Auto Brakes, Autogears, Ideal line...), Quick Race mode, Non-Championship Races and the complete Championship Season with full qualifying and practice days, pit stops, complete car setups, and data logging. Perhaps the most important addition in GP3 is that of realistic weather. If you opt for a full Championship Season, the game controls the weather, randomly opting for rain based on time of year and location of the race. The game graphics are very realistic and fast, there's plenty of eye candy to enjoy, both on and off the track. Certainly the speed strongly depends how many cars is displayed on screen in the same time. GP3 is so realistic that for first-timers it can prove very difficult to play, but the hardcore sim fanatic will very enjoyed. Fortunately there is a comprehensive selection of AI assistance to help you get around the circuit, so also casual race fan can play fine.
