Mechwarrior 4: Vengeance is the fourth installment in the famous Mechwarrior series. The epic story line of MechWarrior 4 is set in the rather extensive BattleTech universe, focusing this time on the power struggles within one of the powerful families of the Inner Sphere. In the game you play the role of a Mechwarrior who has lost his family and is of course, out to seek revenge for their deaths. It's really very good motivation to kill'em all isn't? You control armed 40-foot tall, 80-ton, 90-mile per hour war machine across the remote battlefields of a fiendish world. I wish to have such machine in the real life instead my car and go to shopping! :) Well, I really didn't expect from just 'another' Mech game much, but am very fascinated from the playing of this cool game. Honestly I have to say that Mechwarrior 4: Vengeance is best Mechwarrior game What I've ever played. Oki, maybe you finally want to know more about the game features, so there is it. Mechwarrior 4: Vengeance features dynamic lighting, rockets flares, day missions, night missions, fog, rain, snow, blizzards, dynamic universe inhabited by armed allies, noncombatants, and deadly antagonists, high-energy lasers pierce the night (do you remember intro into Terminator film?) The game includes All-New Mechs - you can command 21 different Mechs, six of which have never been seen on the battlefield, the Mechs can be customized with brand-new weapons, armor and sensors including the devastating Long-Tom artillery piece. In addition each Mech and MechWarrior exhibits unique strengths and weaknesses, so gamers must carefully evaluate each mission and plan accordingly. Mechwarrior 4: Vengeance includes more than 30 unique missions (it's over 15 unique campaign maps) The missions includes a palace assault, taking out a drop ship, and a one-on-one showdown with a battleship and also a variety of new and cunning multiplayer features, including those designed specifically to support networked multiplay in the BattleTech Universe. The game's graphics and sound are excellent, the mechs are very well animated. Mechs smoke when they are overheating, trail fire when badly damaged, just cool. Mechwarrior 4: Vengeance is the best Mech title to date - could it be an excellent X'mas gift :)
