The retail (15$ for a lifetime membership to CheatHappens.com) is well worth it. It does not decrease stability of the game and it actually works.

I'm running 7950GX2 with an overclocked E6600 on my big TFT and it is really laggy at times. It's a shame that there is no benchmark with an SLI setup or a 7950GX2 to compare.
