5800x here and it is working PERFECTLY fine.

1st one was better, watched the vids for #2, mehhhhh. Too much has changed and things I liked from 1st one aren't there anymore. And I say F U to theirhigh priced DLC.

Hyperthreading has always been hit&miss.. never bothered or cared to get a cpu that supported it. So if they wanna get rid of it, i really don't give a f.
