Seems everyone is prepared to say goodbye to their social lives for a few weeks (months?) when Skyrim launches. With Bethesda at the helm, I'm kind of convinced to follow suit.
Apparently they're addressing a lot of the problems that plagued Oblivion. More alien environments? Yep. Vastly improved inventory system? You bet. Better dungeons? Hell yes. (Did you know only one guy on the dev team designed all of the dungeons?!).
And of course you can't forget Jeremy Soule composing all of the music. The main theme alone gives me shivers, and I'm sure he'll do a fine job with the rest of the soundtrack.
But I'm thinking of holding off for a bit just to see all the interesting mods spring up. Or maybe not. In any case, I'd like to say goodbye to Oblivion with this. |

Oh, Skyrim. I completed it 5 or 6 times. Unfortunately, now I don't have enough spare time because of college. |
